David Santisi, DVM

Dr. David Santisi, DVM, is the founder of Winslow Park Animal Hospital and has been a veterinarian for over 30 years. He was drawn to the field as a way to combine his love for animals and his fascination with scientific knowledge. His path was decided early on, and he declared his desire to become a veterinarian at just 10 years old.

Dr. Santisi attended Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, and Oxford University in Oxford, England, where he received a combined undergraduate degree. In 1993, he graduated from Cornell University Veterinary College with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM). Dr. Santisi is passionate about internal medicine, senior care, dermatology, and general surgery.

When he isn’t at the hospital, Dr. Santisi enjoys spending time with his family: Wife of 18 years- Sarah, and has three children, Logan, Kyle, and Kaitlyn. His family also includes beloved pets: Jeter the dog, a cat named Mittens, and Bear the Guinea Pig. He relishes free time by exploring the outdoors through hiking, and endurance cycling. He is also an avid football fan.

Dr. Santisi is dedicated to providing the best care for his patients and helping pet owners maintain their pets’ health and well-being. He finds great joy in being a veterinarian and bringing light into people’s lives, even in challenging times, through their pets.
